In the past , IFCMD operated using four Standing Committees that managed our Programs and activities. The committees addressed Bylaws/ Resolutions/Policies, Communication, Finance, and
Outreach/Education.As we evolve to meet current and future needs of the LGBTQ we are redefining committees.

In the past, Specific Programs have included:
- The Annual Pride Interfaith Service and Celebration – The committee coordinates this service which brings together representatives of many faiths and community members seeking to celebrate and
- The Annual Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving – The committee coordinates this service which brings together representatives of many faiths and community members to give thanks and learn
- LGBT Pride Festivals – The committee coordinates IFCMD participation at various Pride Festivals throughout the area.
- Educational Programs – The committee develops and coordinates educational programs, such as the “Forgiveness Conversations” held in 2008, the "Love Conversations" held in 2009, the "Healing"
Conversations held in 2010 and our Transgender and HIV/AIDS Education Programs for Faith Community Leaders.
